This Royal RHX type ejector pin has a cylindrical head, a straight shank, and a shoulder. It is made of H-13 hot-work die steel heat-treated to a core hardness of 50-55 Rc. The surface has an ion nitride coating having a hardness of 65-74 Rc. The point diameter tolerance is precision-ground to a tolerance of -.0005/-.0008 inches. This is the "TIGHTEST TOLERANCE IN THE INDUSTRY (.0003")".

The available fractional inch point diameters are 1/32, 3/64, 1/16, 5/64, 3/32, and 7/64 in on-size tolerance (-.0005/-.0008) and in oversize tolerance (+.005).
