This Royal CS type slug ejector component set includes a slug ejector pin, a spring, and a set screw. These are normally installed inside a straight punch, shoulder punch or ball-lock punch. In operation it ejects a slug off the end of the punch while the punch pierces a hole.
The ejector pin is made of O-1 tool steel hardened to 44-48Rc. The shank is ground to a tolerance of +/-.001". The included spring is made of steel music wire. The included set screw can be used to retain the ejector and spring inside a hole you drill in the punch. These ejectors are also be referred to as kicker pins.
The available inch sizes of the ejector pins (D/L) are .015/1.11, .020/1.11, .027/1.38, .041/1.94, .058/1.94, .089/2.22, .120/2.22 inches. Please contact us if you need a different size, or if you need us to make any alterations.
