 You can make your own piercing punch or blanking punch from our Punch Blanks. The blanks can be precision ground to your required diameter or custom shape. Be sure to choose a blank that is large enough in diameter to accommodate the biggest diagonal dimension of your custom shape.
A Punch Blank made of M2 steel can be used as a core pin in injection molds. M2 is a hot-work steel. It retains hardness, toughness, and wear-resistance at elevated temperature. A PVD coating can be applied to M2 punch blanks to achieve greater wear resistance and lubricity.
