This Royal MPB type punch blank has a cylindrical head and a straight shank. It is made of M2 high-speed steel heat-treated to a hardness of 60-63 Rc. The shank diameter is precision form-ground within an m5 Metric Tolerance after heat treatment to achieve a better tolerance and finish. The head is drawn back to a lower hardness of 45-55 Rc.The available decimal metric diameters are 3.00, 4.00, 5.00, 6.00, and 8.00.
