This Royal RHX type ejector pin has a cylindrical head and a straight shank. It is made of H-13 hot-work die steel heat-treated to a core hardness of 50-55 Rc. The surface has an ion nitride coating having a hardness of 65-74 Rc. The point diameter tolerance is precision-ground to a tolerance of -.0005/-.0008 inches. This is the "TIGHTEST TOLERANCE IN THE INDUSTRY (.0003")".

The available fractional inch shank diameters are 3/64, 1/16, 5/64, 3/32, 7/64, 1/8, 9/64, 5/32, 11/64, 3/16, 13/64, 7/32, 15/64, 1/4, 17/64, 9/32, 19/64, 5/16, 21/64, 11/32, 23/64, 3/8, 25/64, 13/32, 27/64, 7/16, 29/64, 15/32, 34/64, and 1/2 in on-size tolerance (-.0005/-.0008). The same diameters are available in oversize tolerance (+.005), except for the smallest diameter which is 3/64. The available overall lengths are 6”, 10”, and 14”.
