Quill Punches can be used in stamping dies, gauges, or automation machinery. They are made of hardened tool steel. Some are Bevel Headed Punches (Angle Headed Punches) and others are Cylindrical (Square) Headed punches. There are two classes of Quill Punches. The first is an older, lower-cost style made of O-1 tool steel, which are listed here in this category. The second are made with better tool steel, better heat treatment, and are listed in the Perforator Punches / Core Pin Blanks category.
